Migrant Crisis at US/Mexican Border

Coming fall 2019

The migrant crisis is at the center of public attention and is a trigger for the divisiveness that has taken root across the globe. So much of that attention has been negative, causing many people who would otherwise be in a position to help to either do nothing or act out of fear leading to the inhumane treatment of the migrant population. 

Our vision is to bring Vedic Meditation to the migrants trying to cross the Mexican/US border in order to ease their suffering, raise awareness of the humanity of those in need, and inspire others to help in whatever way they can. 

In order to teach as many at one time as possible, we will host a mass puja in Spanish, then will break down into smaller classes run by multiple initiators with translators.  We’re looking for VM or TM initiators who would like to volunteer for these roles.

The need of the times is to heal the perception of seeing people as “other” and therefore fearing them. The migrant crisis is the ground zero of this consciousness epidemic. Meditation is the ultimate bridge builder, and we endeavor to build those bridges by raising the collective consciousness, one individual at a time.
